You're Interested in one of our dogs or cats?  GREAT!   The procedure for adopting are as follows:

blinkpaw.gif (1744 bytes)    Visit our shelter at 18430 K-Z Road; Cypress, Texas  77433 or weekend mobile adoption clinics.  You can fill out paperwork and adopt right away!!   Click here to see our Location.

blinkpaw.gif (1744 bytes)    Call us at 281-351-NOAH.  Talk to a volunteer or leave your name, address and phone number.   A Noah's Ark volunteer will return your call, briefly interview you over the phone and mail or fax you an adoption application.

blinkpaw.gif (1744 bytes)   Complete the application mail/fax it back to Noah's Ark, or better yet bring it to the shelter in person.

After your application is approved, you will be contacted by the Placement Coordinator who will try to match a pet with your family.  Prospective adoptive families are extensively interviewed to ensure that they understand the responsibility of owning and caring for a dog and cat.   If you decide to adopt one of our pets, we sincerely hope your home will be his/her last and final stop.  We try to match each pet to fit each families lifestyle.  As a shelter, we cannot control the types of animals available at any given time.

The adoption donation is only $85.00.  Your donation helps to partially defray the boarding and veterinary expenses incurred by our non-profit organization.

We reserve the right to refuse an application if the home or environment is incompatible with the needs of the dog or cat.

Due to the natural tendency of dogs to escape, roam and wander, a securely fenced yard is imperative for the dog's safety and exercise.

Our non-profit organization is comprised of hard working volunteers whose only reward is seeing these wonderful animals placed in loving, permanent homes and given a second chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion.

ALL dogs and cats are spayed or neutered before being adopted.

This is Texas State Law and there are NO exceptions.

Thank you for your support! Together we can make it happen!
