100.7 The Word KKHT Houston > The BEST Bible Teachers The BEST Talk Shows

Meet BECKY!!  She is a beautiful Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix that is 5 months old, and still very much a puppy.  She made a huge hit during her interview at KKHT, 100.7 The Word.  Becky is a vivacious and playful puppy that would make a fabulous companion for a family that has little boys or for someone who enjoys brisk walking.  She's a quick learner and is already crate trained.  Becky is a true treasure!   Please come to Noah's Ark to adopt this valuable GEM!

ZIGGY:   This little guy needs a very special home without small children.  He was in a home with very small children and has learned to bite little hands for them to leave him alone.  He is a fantastic dog that is housetrained and very accustomed to sleeping his masters bed, so be prepared for a furry companion!   He is a 3 year old purebred Shih Tzu groomed in a Schnauzer haircut.  His favorite sleeping spot is in your computer chair - even when you're in it, so you have to scoot to the front to make allowances for His Royal Highness.

Meet Biscotti and Latte!   These are two adorable little Shar Pei puppies that came to to Noah's Ark at 3 weeks old.  They are in a Fabulous foster home and thriving beyond belief.   They are now 8 weeks old, learning potty training and playing like healthy little puppies should play.    They have had their first vaccinations, de-wormed and ready to find their forever home with your family.   Please call the shelter to inquire about these sweet little sugar pies today.

LUCY:  She is a yellow lab mix, approx. 1 year old.   This poor girl was severely neglected and starved before being rescued by a good Samaritan and brought to Noah's Ark for medical treatment and tender loving care.   She is a good girl - very gentle and loving, and certainly not deserving of being treated as a discarded pet.

BEAR:  What beautiful eyes!!   This boy is good with other dogs, cats and children.   He is very trusting when he gets to know you, otherwise he is a little on the timid side.  He is about 2 years old and ready to be loved by you!   He is great at behaving during bath time.
WONDERFUL NEWS!!   ADOPTED!!  EWOK found a great home!!  This shaggy little dog was found as a stray and is in serious need of a good grooming.    Here are the before and after pictures.   Thank you for adopting a shelter pet!
BROOKLYN and BRODY:    These two gorgeous purebred Shar Peis were unfortunately used for breeder dogs.    They are thankfully at Noah's Ark, spayed and neutered and now waiting for a forever home where they can be loved and not used for what they can produce.  They are really good dogs!
TEX:   He is approx. 1-2 years old.   He is VERY laid back and gentle.   He would make a great family pet.
ZEUS came to live at Noah's Ark at  6 weeks old with sarcoptic and demodectic mange.   He completely lost all of his hair and was completely unsightly.  With a LOT of Tender Loving Care from the volunteers at the shelter, he is now ready to find a home of his own.   A very dedicated volunteer personally sponsored his very expensive bottles of special shampoo, salve and mite treatment.   Zeus says, "Thank You, I feel much better"!!   Please call to inquire about Zeus.  He is a loving little dog and would make a great family companion.  He is leash and crate trained.

Mickey, a Lab/Border Collie mix was found starving, dehydrated with road rash and a broken leg near Waller. We’re guessing Mickey was hit by a car and left to die.  A good Samaritan brought Mickey to Noah’s Ark asking for help for the suffering dog. Mickey was referred to a special surgeon who managed to save her leg, although it was much more costly than an amputation. Mickey is very happy that she still has all four legs.  See the severity of her broken leg on the xray to the left.

Mickey will need a very loving and patient owner to help her through her tough time.   When you meet her, you will undoubtedly fall in love.   She's a true treasure.

Please make a donation to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, a 501 c(3) No-Kill Sanctuary to help cover the cost of Mickey’s surgery. Any amount is greatly appreciated!

Good News!  So far, $918.00 has been donated toward Mickey's surgery.   The total cost was $2,700.00.  Thank you to United Animal Nations for the Emergency  Lifeline Grant toward her surgery!

DUKE!!!   Oh what a beautiful dog - inside and out!   He is a very gentle Black Lab, approx. 1-2 years old.   He decided one day that we was going to adopt the wonderful people and sales staff at PARKWAY CHEVROLET.    He sauntered in the front doors and just made himself at home.  Duke is looking for a family with kids that will love him and promises to play lots of ball.    Bones Please!!

Mention Noah's Ark Animals Sanctuary when you purchase a vehicle and Parkway Chevrolet will donate $100.00 to help care for the animals living at Noah's Ark.  Please Spread the Word!

Hemi:  Male Border Collie mix, approx. 1-2 years old.   He would make an EXCELLENT frizbee or flyball competition dog.

Won't You
